Content Management Systems

Once the design and development of your website are finished, and everything is online, ready for your visitors, comes the task of updating the content.

As people have gotten used to getting more of their information from websites, they've also gotten used to seeing new information and images on the sites they visit. You want people to keep coming back to your site, and one way to do that is to regularly update what you offer to visitors.

Some of our clients prefer to send us the information they want to appear on the site, and have us do the actual updating. We're happy to do that.

Others prefer to do it themselves, and we're happy to set up the site for that, too. The easiest way for non-technical people to work on a site is by using a Content Management System (CMS).

A CMS allows one or more people to go to a password-protected area in the site, and add, change or remove text and words from the pages on the site. There's no need to learn any programming code; if you can use a word-processor, you can use a CMS. We work with several of the most popular ones (Joomla, WordPress, Drupal), and can tailor one to work well for you.
